Hillsong United & Starfield

Wow, I just realized I haven't posted anything on my blog for two whole months! That's a LONG time! I can't believe I didn't post anything regarding all the NHL and NBA playoffs! Ah well....anyway, it's been two days since the Hillsong United (and Starfield) concert, and man, that Saturday night down at Molson Amphitheatre was AMAZING! Starfield started it off with their amazing energy! They got us ready for the real deal...Hillsong United! Man they played all their best songs! I knew they would start off with The Time Has Come! Then they played more famous songs like "Take It All", "Look To You", and then after Pastor Phil Dooley's message, they played "From the Inside Out", "Salvation Is Here" (the song I was so looking forward to!), "One Way", "All Day", and many many other songs! I think they played like 15-20 songs, but man, the energy excitement from the 12,000 of us in the seats was so crazy! With all the jumping and whatever, it made me forgot how tired and hungry I was! Jumping all night, singing, screaming, but most importantly, praising God! It's one night I will NEVER forget. The experience was amazing! Although I know some people don't agree with the fact that Christianity should be ministered through "experiencing" God, but rather through the learning about the facts and concepts of Christianity, I think the "experiencing" of God is a vital part of a Christian's spiritual walk. I won't say anything about facts, concepts, or whatever, but the experiencing of God is what truly brings you towards Him, and gives you the opportunity to be in awe of His awesome glory! I experienced that on Saturday, and man, it's something so indescribable and so unique that all I can say is that it was amazing and unforgettable! I really can't wait until Hillsong United 2008! =)
