2008 MLB playoff predictions

(just to start the tradition again! sorry if you're not a baseball fan!)

Cubs > Dodgers in 3
Cubs are most talented team in playoffs! Dodgers just have Manny...that's it.

Phillies > Brewers in 4
Howard/Utley/Rollins will carry the team...CC will take one game only!

Angels > Red Sox in 4
Angels are best team in AL with stacked pitching and overall defense! Red Sox have too many injuries...

White Sox > Rays in 4 (Gotta pick an upset!)
White Sox have momentum. Rays are still inexperienced, but we'll see if they can prove me wrong again! (I did pick them to still be worse than the Jays this year...)

Stupid Grey's Anatomy kicked FP from their usual Thursday night 10pm time slot, but at least I get to check out the filming of FP tomorrow at Queens Park thanks to Clem! =) FP is definitely one of the best shows I've ever followed on TV.

How can I keep from singing Your praise?

How can I ever say enough?

And it makes my heart want to sing.


Don't know how it happened, but singing that song during service today gave me a sense of peace in knowing that there are just so many things in life that are not as important as the relationship with God. Actually, everything in life isn't as important as God! Anyway, the sense of peace was a blessing because of this crazy week coming up. I don't know how I'll manage to sleep this week, but knowing that the most important thing in life is just praising and worshiping God just makes me much better! It's like what I taught my Sunday School kids today...temptation can even be just putting your physical needs above your spiritual needs, or even just having anything in place of God as your worship. Indeed, how can I keep from singing His praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is His love!

It's been a while...

OK, so I just realized I haven't blogged in the longest time.......In a way, I did miss it because it allowed me to keep track of how I was doing, but now I think it's time to resurrect it! Somebody said that blogging was a way to keep track of how you are doing with God, and also to keep yourself accountable to others, and that seemed to make sense. Anyway, here goes another round of blogging! Hopefully I can keep this up for a while haha!

Anyway, so I just realized that I'll probably be having the craziest two weeks starting now. Grad school funding applications are aggravating to say the least, but I guess I'll somehow manage this. I guess I just really need to have good time management and pray that God will continue to give me strength to go through these busy times.

Lastly, I actually MSN'ed with a friend who I haven't communicated with in literally 10 years! It was fun catching up. I won't go into details except to say that it was great talking and I hope I never ever lose a friendship because I didn't have enough time because you can always find time for a friend.
