For people who take the TTC regularly, they've probably came across those mini "Bus Stop Bible Studies" that are on various posters in TTC buses and subways. So today, on the McCowan bus, I came across this one that said:
"I know the one whom I trust [Jesus], and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. -2nd Timothy 1:12, New Living
I don't know what the future holds; but I do know who holds the future. -Anon"
This one impacted me because for the past while, especially last night (what I coincidence), I have been thinking about the future and just somehow I began to worry more than usual. Random thoughts just caused me to become mentally weak, even though I know full well I trust in God. Somehow today's encountering of that message was a reminder for me to know that God has things in control and He holds my future in His hands.
UPDATE:
So for those breakfast ideas,
1. Criss-cross fries......too hard to make! And my mom wouldn't eat the oily stuff...
2. Pancakes, waffles, sausages, hash brown, fruits......I am already making one of them...I will make another thing (maybe 2) from that list!
3. Dim sum with pancakes and fruits......Dim sum is too hard haha...unless I buy those frozen packaged ones and heat up, but that wouldn't be me MAKING breakfast...
4. Home made cheung-fun......Cheung-fun is too regular...home-making it would be too hard! I'm not those cooks at the JUK-FUN-MEEN-POES
So Alex gave me the best advice...she will get a prize from me.
